The Aquinas College of Higher Studies invites applications for the position of Academic Head for the Faculty of Business & Hospitality Management. We are looking for a dedicated individual to lead our academic programs and enhance the educational experience of our students.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Program Syllabus and organize paper setting and moderating.
- Organize the lecturer panel as per the schedule.
- Conduct examinations and ensure academic integrity.
- Implement academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities with students.
- Plan and organize development programs for academic staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate commitment to the institution.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and take on challenges.
Requirements
- A degree with specialization in the relevant subject area (First or Second Class Upper Division) and a postgraduate qualification.
- PhD/MSc/MBA in Business/Logistic Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience at a state university or higher educational institute, with academic administration experience being an advantage.
- Willingness to work during weekends and a commitment to the organization.
