Key Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies are applied during the preparation of yearly and monthly accounts.
- Supervise daily operations within the scope of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Authorize and oversee the processing of pre-requisition orders in line with set standards.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to ensure smooth running of the organization's accounts department.
- Oversee the collection, deposit, and reconciliation of bank funds and accounts.
- Provide customer support services and assist in resolving customer complaints or problems in payments.
- Process payments and financial documents such as invoices, statements, and vouchers.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial close-up.
Qualifications
- Candidate should be flexible and aged between 30 - 40.
- An accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent) is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring reliable financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting financial data and making informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting regulations and standards.
