Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with Group policies and ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards.
- Develop budgets and monitor expenses to ensure they remain within approved limits.
- Ensure all payments adhere to the approval process and are executed promptly.
- Deliver management reports, including quarterly and annual reports, on schedule.
- Manage and report on government taxes and other statutory liabilities.
- Liaise with auditors and relevant government agencies, including the Inland Revenue Department (IRD).
Key Requirements
- Professional qualification in finance (ICASL / CIMA).
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar capacity.
- Sound knowledge of Taxes and Accounting Standards is essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and IT skills are vital.
- Previous experience in a listed company will be an added advantage.
- Age below 50 years.
