Responsibilities
District Manager - Monaragala
- Oversee the implementation of district-wide programs and initiatives.
- Research and understand district needs and requirements.
- Plan and organize development work with supervisor guidance.
- Manage resource allocation, budgets, and human resources.
- Analyze staff performance and program effectiveness.
- Represent the district in external forums and advocate for district interests.
- Investigate and resolve complaints while ensuring legal compliance.
- Ensure cleanliness and high standards in the district office.
- Lead district staff in project work and operations.
- Initiate and oversee non-funded programs.
Deputy District Manager - Colombo
- Coordinate implementation of district programs and initiatives.
- Manage district operations in the absence of the District Manager.
- Schedule meetings and training sessions for staff development.
- Communicate with villages on community projects.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for the NGO.
- Check payments and maintain project activity records.
- Generate and coordinate relief funds.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve complaints.
- Participate in cultural and community events.
Requirements
District Manager
- Bachelor's degree in project management, management, or social sciences.
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- 3-4 years of experience if holding a degree.
- Age: Below 35 years.
Deputy District Manager
- Advance Level with minimum 3 passes or 6-7 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- 3-4 years of working experience if holding A/Ls.
- A Diploma in project management is preferred.
- Age: Below 35 years.
Remuneration
- District Manager: LKR 50,000 - 55,000
- Deputy District Manager: LKR 40,500 - 50,000
