Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Maintain internal controls and recommend improvements to financial processes.
- Lead or assist in finance projects, system implementations, or process automation.
- Mentor and support team as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in freight forwarding is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification.
- Minimum of 5+ years in a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
