Import Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the import process of raw materials, machinery, and spare parts for production.
- Manage end-to-end import operations including documentation, clearance, and compliance with local regulations.
- Negotiate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure cost-effective and timely imports.
- Monitor inventory levels to align import schedules with production requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and local authorities.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights for strategic procurement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in import/export or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, HS codes, and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
