Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions efficiently and effectively.
- Budgeting and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Implement effective accounting controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and reconcile accurate financial records.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Liaise with banks, statutory auditors, Department of Inland Revenue, and other government organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals.
- Provide necessary leadership to the finance department.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University in Sri Lanka.
- Full/part qualification of CA Sri Lanka / CMA / ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar position, preferably in an FMCG company.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP B1 is an advantage.
- Understanding of banking procedures, tax procedures, and treasury management.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet work deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Age below 35 years.
