Job Description
Our client is seeking an outstanding and energetic professional with a high level of dedication and competence to take over the responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant position.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to all business activities.
- Liaise effectively with internal divisions/departments and external organizations.
- Maintain a systematic filing system for easy retrieval and safekeeping of important documents.
- Organize, plan, and perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Help ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT/GST, PAYE, etc.).
- Prepare basic management reports.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
- Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum working experience of 5 years.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills and social etiquette.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Female candidates below 35 years of age.
