We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Imports Manager to join our Commercial Division. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage international shipments with Commercial Banks, regulatory authorities, international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
- Administer marine cargo insurance and maintain relevant documentation.
- Handle claims and recovery procedures for any discrepancies in shipments.
- Maintain accurate import records, certifications, and insurance details in ERP systems.
- Facilitate alignment between internal teams and external suppliers regarding shipment timelines and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on LC expiries, shipment deadlines, and SG cancellations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in import operations, international trade, or logistics coordination.
- Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and knowledge of import documentation and clearance processes.
- Certification in banking or regulatory compliance is an added advantage.
