About the Role
Join our team at Ansell Textiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as an Assistant in Quality Assurance. You will be mainly accountable for managing product transfer projects and other change initiatives from the QA side, ensuring compliance, upholding quality standards, and driving smooth execution across all relevant processes.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities
- Manage CRI, conduct validations, and review validation protocols to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare and submit validation reports and product specifications within defined timelines.
- Participate in internal and external audits (ISO 9001:2015, EU 2016/425 Modules D & B).
- Communicate effectively with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop accurate material and product specifications.
- Conduct pattern verification and ensure alignment with technical requirements.
- Perform risk assessments during validations to proactively identify business risks.
- Train relevant personnel on validated products to ensure a smooth commercial rollout.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science stream.
- 1-2 years' experience in an apparel-related field is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Basic understanding of PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive attitude and high enthusiasm.
- Proficient in MS Office and Minitab.
- Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
