Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the underwriting and claims operations for assigned branches, covering both motor and non-motor segments.
- Ensure underwriting formalities are conducted according to company guidelines.
- Process claims and relevant documentation as per company policies.
- Liaise with customers regarding technical aspects as needed.
- Stay updated on industry standards, policies, and changes.
- Assist the sales force with technical aspects when necessary.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Sound educational background with GCE A/L.
- Diploma in Insurance or Bachelor’s degree (CII qualifications are an advantage).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English & Sinhala, both written and oral.
- Attention to detail and confidence to work independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
