Soul & Surf Sri Lanka has been the leading surf and yoga stay on the island since 2014. Our café and bar are central to the experience we offer, serving honest, nourishing food, great coffee, and cocktails with a view.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the café and bar
- Manage, train, and motivate the kitchen and service teams
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Oversee inventory, ordering, supplier relations, and stock audits
- Manage P&L, budgets, costings, and POS accuracy
- Track food waste and implement systems to reduce it
- Organise and support events, specials, and promotional activities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, every time
- Support the GM and wider team with planning and reporting
Essentials for the Role
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar café/restaurant management role
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Strong background in hospitality operations and team leadership
- Confident with financials, systems, and spreadsheets (Google Suite)
- Based near Ahangama
- Friendly, energetic, and a natural host
- Organised, proactive, and committed to quality
- A genuine understanding of what Soul & Surf is all about
Hours
Full-time, 8 hours a day, 5.5 days a week
