Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes for various occasions including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences.
- Prepare and apply icing, fondant, and other decorative elements.
- Ensure all cakes meet quality standards and are visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cake decorator or similar role.
- Strong artistic skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various decorating techniques and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
