Job Profile
- Innovate new products, enhance existing ones, and lead product redesigns.
- Research market trends and product feasibility in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Provide expert advice on recipe formulation, ingredient interactions, and baking conditions.
- Identify current process capabilities and determine supplier requirements.
- Address and solve problems related to recipe formulation and ingredient interactions.
- Assist with ongoing product improvements and resolve issues with existing products.
- Collaborate with the supply chain to develop new suppliers when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in food manufacturing, pastry, or baking-related industries.
- Proven experience in new product development within the food or baking industry.
- Bachelor's degree in food science and/or diploma/experience in baking is highly advantageous.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala & English.
