Job Summary
We are looking for new talent with appropriate qualifications and experience to join our team in Jamaica as a Commercial Management Specialist in compliance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review project contracts and manage the authorization documentation process.
- Oversee project measurement and settlement with clients and subcontractors and prepare payment documentation.
- Handle claims, variations, and dispute resolution for the project.
- Be responsible for project risk management and insurance procurement efforts.
- Establish and implement a project compliance system, ensuring effective compliance supervision.
- Participate in project handover and completion acceptance inspections.
- Coordinate with regional offices and headquarters departments to ensure strict adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by project leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or similar qualification obtained from a recognized University or Institutions.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial law project management, with proven ability to independently lead a commercial law department.
- Professional qualifications or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of project-based commercial law management; experience in Jamaica or nearby regions is preferred. Familiarity with Jamaican CIC contract is highly valued.
- Strong professional ethics, confidentiality awareness, quick learner, highly adaptable, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English for both daily and business communication.
- Committed team player with strong attention to detail.
- Male candidates aged 30-45 are preferred.
