Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Participate in menu planning and development, particularly for pastry and cold dishes.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred for Commi II positions.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- For Kitchen Stewards, a strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness are essential.
