Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and special events.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Participate in menu planning and ingredient sourcing.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role, preferably in Indian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
