Job Responsibilities

Conduct training and facilitate an Inclusive Vulnerability Capacity Assessment (VCA).
Develop or update inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) preparedness and response plans.
Train and mobilize the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) to support VCA participatory tools.
Identify existing and new risks due to climate change and inclusive risk reduction strategies.
Assess key issues determining people's vulnerability to climate change and their resilience capacities.

Requirements

Experience in conducting training and facilitating assessments.
Knowledge of climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and community structures.
Proven track record in participatory methodologies and tools.
