Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical care and consultation in your specialty.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and patient management.
- Engage in ongoing education and training of medical staff.
- Contribute to departmental administration and policy development.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Requirements
- Specialist Medical Officers with MD Board Certification in the relevant field from PGIM, University of Colombo.
- Registered in the Specialist Medical Registrar at SLMC with a valid Specialist Registration Number.
- Age: Not more than 50 years (consideration for those over 50 on a contract basis).
- For Deputy Director: Minimum of 8 years continuous service in the Department and relevant qualifications.
Salary
- Consultant Positions: Rs. 210,000/- 12 x 6530/- Rs. 288,360/- p.m. plus other Board-approved allowances.
- Deputy Director: Rs. 110,720/- 10 x 3230 - 8 x 3950 - 17 x 5250 - Rs. 263,870/- p.m. plus other Board-approved allowances.
