Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes.
- Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently during service.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
- Contribute to menu planning and development.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role in a Chinese restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
