Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality Indian dishes.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the kitchen station and maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role in Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
