Development Merchandiser
Company Overview
We are a global enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of outerwear, school-wear, and headwear for international markets through our extensive overseas distribution channels. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.
Position Details
- Location: Gampaha, Wattala, Kadawatha, Ja Ela
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Reporting to: Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with local and foreign customers directly in a complex, multi-product environment.
- Oversee the sample development process, negotiate with customers, and prepare development cost sheets.
- Provide weekly dispatch schedules and follow up with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of sample packages.
- Handle embroidery and printing-related product developments and approvals.
- Submit weekly, monthly, and seasonal dashboards, creating T&A critical paths and KPIs as needed.
- Source required trims and accessories from local and imported suppliers.
- Follow up with the sample room during stitching to ensure timely dispatch of samples.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Qualified or part qualified in CIMA/CIM/SLIM/SLITA is encouraged to apply.
- Age between 28 - 40 years.
