Join NKAR Travels & Tours at our high-end three-star property, Insight Resort, located in Ahangama, just past Galle. We pride ourselves on maintaining high occupancy rates and are looking for a quality Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 22 and take full responsibility for kitchen operations.
- Oversee menu planning and food costing.
- Ensure high standards in hot range, cold kitchen, and bakery operations.
- Administer in English and manage two outlets: the Main Restaurant and the Bistro.
- Maintain discipline and standards within the department, providing strong leadership.
- Train and mentor a dynamic team of young chefs.
- Proactively address challenges with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or as a sous chef in a higher-category hotel.
- Strong knowledge and experience in various cuisines.
- Ability to work in an online environment.
- Overseas experience is an added advantage.
- Age below 50.
