Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate Private Wealth Management reporting and timely dispatch.
- Prepare and verify client confirmations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform valuation of financial instruments in accordance with IFRS requirements.
- Participate in system development initiatives related to finance and reporting enhancements.
- Handle and resolve client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory institutions to support compliance and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the process of bank account openings and closures for clients.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist Managers and Senior Managers in compiling reports for management committee meetings.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
Requirements
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial reporting, accounting, and experience in an investment banking company will be an added advantage.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka and/or AAT qualification will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level).
- Exposure to accounting/ERP systems and reporting tools is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
