Responsibilities
- Assist in timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Assist in preparing timely tax returns.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management from a recognized university in Sri Lanka.
- Part qualification in CA/CMA/ACCA/AAT.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role; experience in an audit firm is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet work deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
