Position: Finance & Marketing Manager
Flame Tree Estate & Hotel, a serene and sophisticated luxury boutique hotel nestled in the heart of nature, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance & Marketing Manager to lead our financial operations and marketing initiatives. This is a key leadership position contributing directly to our continued growth and reputation for excellence.
About the Role:
As Finance & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the hotel's end-to-end financial management and strategic marketing direction. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, vendor management, and cost control while also supporting our brand visibility and revenue generation through data-driven marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Reconcile with general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
- Manage supplier payments, taxes (VAT, PS Tax, TDL), and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare annual budgets and conduct monthly variance analysis and quarterly forecasting.
- Maintain strong banking and vendor relationships, ensuring accurate account management.
- Monitor departmental profitability and implement cost-control measures.
Marketing & Revenue
- Implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Work with local and international sales agents to drive bookings and brand exposure.
- Analyze marketing performance data to inform decision-making and campaign planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or boutique hotel sector.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, reporting, tax regulations (VAT, TDL), and accounting systems.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel-based analysis.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A strategic, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
