Human Resource Manager
We are a fast-growing company seeking a highly organized Human Resource Manager to join our team at our Australian-owned sweater manufacturing business located in Biyagama EPZ. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing our rapidly growing workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Implement best practice recruitment and selection processes and systems.
- Development of employees through the administration of training and development programmes.
- Ensure company compliance with SETA 4 pillar, GOTS, legal and statutory regulations.
- Look after the welfare of employees through health and safety programmes.
- Manage staff benefits including payroll processing, canteen arrangements, transport, and monthly employee welfare activities.
- Maintain employee wellbeing through employee liaison and counselling.
- Implement and maintain employee performance management systems.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in a similar role with garment industry exposure.
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Human Resource Management.
- Strong understanding of labour laws.
- Experience with social compliance and certification processes.
