About Us

Established in 1929, the Employers' Federation of Ceylon (EFC) is the national employers' organization in Sri Lanka, consisting of over 700 member organizations. We are currently seeking talented Attorneys-at-Law to join our team as Industrial Relations Advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on industrial relations and employment law.
  • Represent clients at labour tribunals and regional labour offices.
  • Conduct training sessions on labour law and compliance.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to employment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve industrial disputes.

Requirements

  • An Attorney-at-Law with 3+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the legal framework governing employment in Sri Lanka.
  • Willingness to travel to labour tribunals, regional labour offices, and company-based training sessions.
  • Experience in the Plantation Sector and/or conducting training on Labour Law is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and Sinhala, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office packages.
