Key Responsibilities
- Prepare stock orders, replenishment orders, or local purchase requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, including tracking stock levels, locations, and quantities.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overstock situations, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Generate purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery, and verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics for management.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and logistics, to ensure inventory levels meet business requirements.
- Handle claim processes and follow up on credit notes.
Qualifications
- Passed GCE O/L & A/L.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in demand forecasting/statistics.
- 3-5 years of work experience in inventory, ordering, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
- Located in the vicinity of Pilimathalawa.
