Responsibilities
- Manage local IT hardware and network (LAN, WAN, Servers, etc.).
- Oversee local custom application management (sourcing new applications, maintaining existing applications, user support).
- Provide user support and training (desktop application support, change management, coordination with Central IT in Kolkata, India).
- Ensure IT security compliance (policy implementation, licensing compliance, backup of applications and data).
Requirements
- Degree/Higher Diploma or Professional qualifications in Computer Science & Network Administration from a recognized University or Institute.
- Knowledge of hardware such as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network configurations (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
- Familiarity with IT compliance and policy, firewall, antivirus, and VPN.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Almost 5 years of experience in IT, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently.
