The Role
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end computer vision systems, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
- Architect scalable ML pipelines for vision domain tasks including detection, segmentation, and multimodal learning.
- Research and adopt state-of-the-art CV and ML techniques to address complex image understanding problems.
- Oversee data collection, annotation, and augmentation, ensuring diversity and quality for robust model performance.
- Build frameworks for model experimentation, reproducibility, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate ML workflows into scalable data pipelines on cloud platforms.
- Partner with business teams to translate needs into ML solutions, balancing research with delivery timelines.
- Establish and enforce best practices for ML code quality, testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and lead a team of ML engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
The Person
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/ML-related field, with 5+ years in ML/CV engineering and 2+ years in technical leadership.
- Strong in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV; deep knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and Vision-Language Models.
- Hands-on experience with segmentation, detection, and multimodal systems; familiar with scalable ML pipelines.
- Proficient in AWS, GCP, or Azure ML platforms; skilled in model monitoring, explainability, and optimization.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Encouraged to apply if you have research experience or publications in computer vision, multimodal AI, or generative models.
- Exposure to 3D vision, AR/VR, CAD/BIM, or graphics pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of synthetic data generation, simulation environments, or reinforcement learning.
