Position Overview

We invite highly qualified applicants with a passion for teaching and research to join us as a Lecturer (Tenure Track) in the Department of Applied Sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
  • Supervise student research.
  • Engage in academic research and publishing.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Provide academic guidance to students.
  • Participate in departmental activities.
  • Support administrative and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

  • A four-year bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with 1st or 2nd Class Honours, or a 3-year bachelor's degree with 1st or 2nd Class Honours, or a master's degree at SLQF Level 9 in Applied Sciences.
  • A minimum of one year of teaching experience at the undergraduate level or satisfactory industrial experience.
  • Evidence of research output is required.
