Manager - Talent Development
About the Role
As the Manager - Talent Development within our Learning & Development Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to employee growth and empowerment. Your passion for fostering learning environments, coupled with your adept communication and leadership abilities, will be integral in designing and executing training programmes that inspire and equip our employees to excel.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute training programmes (Insurance, Technical, and Soft Skills) aligned with the organisation's training strategy.
- Assess the success of training outcomes and support employees in embracing their learning opportunities.
- Ensure training materials and programmes are up-to-date, accurate, and effective.
- Explore various training methods and techniques applicable to the organisation and industry.
- Enhance and adapt existing training programmes to elevate employee engagement and meet evolving needs.
- Identify challenges and opportunities for improvement through training.
- Manage trainings within an allocated budget while implementing required and recommended sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance Industry (preferably in General Insurance) as a Trainer or in a similar role.
- Professional qualifications related to Insurance and a recognized qualification in Learning & Development.
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and training-related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala and English.
- Strong presentation, leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel around the country.
