The DW Group of Companies has been operating for over 30 years. Originally established as a tea manufacturing business in Rathnapura, the Group has since diversified into multiple sectors, including fuel filling stations, mineral water bottling, and the export of gems and Ceylon cinnamon.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day vehicle fleet issues and ensure all vehicles are repaired and ready for daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and related costs.
- Ensure all vehicles have valid and up-to-date authorized documentation (e.g., insurance).
- Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns on the road and arrange necessary repairs.
- Maintain good working relationships with vehicle drivers and mechanics.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Good knowledge of engine and gearbox repairs.
- Ability to work with Excel for basic records and reports.
- Preferably holds a German Tech qualification or a similar technical qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Ratnapura area, as familiarity with the location and proximity to our factories would be an added advantage. However, for non-resident candidates, accommodation and meals will be provided.
