Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Develop and validate microbiological methods to ensure product safety and quality.
- Monitor and analyze microbial contamination in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve microbiological issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to microbiology.
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on microbiological practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in microbiological testing, preferably in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (ISO, GMP, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
