Operation Manager | Senior Executive - Hospital Facility Service
Company Overview
We are a well-established medium-sized private hospital in Colombo, inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management and supervision of hospital operational facilities.
- Oversee cleaning and housekeeping services.
- Manage kitchen and food service operations.
- Coordinate transport services and fleet management.
- Ensure security services and access control.
- Implement fire detection, fire safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Maintain medical and non-medical machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Manage assets registers (medical, non-medical, fire, and safety assets).
- Coordinate with service providers and internal departments for smooth hospital operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and hospital policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or professional qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations or facilities management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Good knowledge of hospital safety standards, fire systems, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple operational areas effectively.
