About Us
Join our dynamic team at Opal Designs and Construction Pvt Ltd, where we specialize in innovative design and construction solutions. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our technical teams and ensure the seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise technical teams (BIM Modeling, Quantity Surveying, Civil Estimation, Joinery/Fit-Out Drafting).
- Oversee project tracking, resource management, and timely delivery to top standards.
- Coordinate with country managers and clients in Doha, Dubai, and Sri Lanka.
- Implement operational systems, monitor KPIs, and enforce SOPs.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve process bottlenecks with team leads.
- Manage HR functions - attendance, task allocation, performance, onboarding.
- Maintain seamless infrastructure (power, internet, hardware, security) for uninterrupted operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in operations, project coordination, or team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of BIM Software (Revit, Navisworks), Quantity Surveying/Estimation, AutoCAD, and Technical Drafting.
- Prior experience in a KPO, engineering consultancy, or fit-out firm is a strong advantage.
- Expertise in two or more technical domains (BIM, QS/Estimation, Drafting, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added asset).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and team management tools.
