Procurement Executive
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of the right quality items at the right price and quantity.
- Conduct comparative analysis on supplier prices and negotiate pricing, payment terms, etc.
- Review and evaluate the performance of suppliers.
- Carry out all necessary procurement activities, including raising Purchase Orders.
- Submit final invoices to the Finance and Accounts department and follow up on payments.
- Negotiate with suppliers/service agreements.
- Identify potential vendors for goods and services.
- Prepare reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement.
- Degree or equivalent Diploma in purchasing and logistics.
- Experience in pharmaceuticals or FMCG companies is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
