Job Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and monitor inventory turnover.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare purchase orders and track order status.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Conduct regular stock audits and manage discrepancies.
- Support the finance department with invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and inventory levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
