Product Manager | Assistant Product Manager - Laboratory

As a Product Manager / Assistant Product Manager, you'll oversee product planning, supplier coordination, and market development—ensuring that the right solutions reach the right hands. The Role Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing comprehensive product knowledge and technical support to customers, sales, and tender teams.
- Organizing product promotions, demonstrations, and offering technical guidance to enhance customer engagement.
- Coordinating with foreign suppliers to procure products and obtain necessary technical support.
- Handling and achieving sales and revenue targets for the assigned product range.
- Developing marketing and pricing strategies to strengthen the product portfolio.
- Prioritizing product features and identifying new suppliers according to market demands.
- Leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure product success and client satisfaction.
- Leading and managing a team by providing guidance, training, and performance support to ensure alignment with company objectives and successful execution of product strategies.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- A Degree in Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar capacity, ideally in the laboratory or medical sector.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide and collaborate effectively.
- Strong English communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and planning abilities.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with sound knowledge of the laboratory instrument market.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Sri Lanka.
