The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Production Supervisor - Local Sales to join our growing team. This role integrates production supervision with local sales strategy, focusing on building strong relationships with key clients in the domestic market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily activities of the production line to meet output, quality, and cost targets.
- Enforce strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and all company safety and hygiene protocols.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Monitor product quality at all stages of processing, ensuring only the best products are approved for sale.
- Coordinate with planning and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and on-time order fulfillment.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow our presence and market share in the local/domestic market.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new local clients, including hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to potential clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably within the food processing or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in sales or business development is a strong advantage.
- Strong computer literacy is essential, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating reports, managing data, and preparing presentations.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Management, Fisheries, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
