Project Manager - Craft Festival

Do you believe in the power of craft to tell stories, preserve heritage, and inspire the future? We are seeking a Project Manager with vision, artistic flair, and cultural depth to lead/launch Sri Lanka's foremost Craft Festival - a celebration of creativity, heritage, and community.

What You'll Do

  • Curate and deliver experiences that highlight traditional and contemporary craft at the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with master artisans, designers, and cultural institutions, building meaningful relationships across the heritage and creative sectors.
  • Oversee the full festival journey - from concept and curation to on-site delivery and post-event storytelling.
  • Manage budgets, partnerships, and production with efficiency and flair.
  • Champion the festival's identity as a cultural highlight, ensuring it resonates with local and international audiences.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned cultural project leader with proven event or festival management experience.
  • Someone with artistic sensibility and deep appreciation for heritage crafts, design, and culture.
  • Confident and creative, equally comfortable in boardrooms, workshops, and festival grounds.
  • Organized and efficient, able to bring structure without losing the magic of creativity.
  • A strong communicator who can inspire artists, partners, sponsors, and the public alike.
