Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all business units.
- Lead execution and follow-up of cross-functional programs and projects.
- Act on feedback to drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
- Ensure organizational processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- Proactively report progress to identified steering committees.
- Identify project risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project status reports and updates to the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Track project portfolio health.
Requirements
- Citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field from a recognized institution.
- Project Management professional certification or Master’s Degree in Project Management is preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in software and hardware projects.
- Positive attitude and a "can-do" mindset.
- Exposure to banking or fintech operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc.
- Experience in digitization and transformation projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
