Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust quality control procedures adhering to ISO, FSSC, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Oversee quality operations, including raw material inspections, in-process analysis, and finished product evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and enhance processes through systematic problem-solving methods.
- Ensure customer specifications are met and address complaints with corrective actions.
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective measures to maintain compliance.
- Train and guide the production team on quality standards to foster a culture of excellence.
- Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and technologies to refine quality assurance processes.
Personal Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 15 years in a food manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in the flexible packaging industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and GMP certifications is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication in English and Sinhala.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
