Key Responsibilities
- Prepare & analyze BOQs, cost estimates, and other related documents in line with project requirements.
- Manage procurement activities with international suppliers and contractors.
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate RFQs, tenders, and contracts in line with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FIDIC/international contract standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers on quality inspections, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate & compare subcontractor & supplier quotations ensuring value for money & compliance with specifications.
- Raise purchase orders with work approvals & contractual agreements for sub-contractors.
- Prepare Interim Payment Certificates of sub-contractors after inspecting the completion of job quality.
- Work closely with project engineers, procurement, finance, and sub-contractors to complete projects within the timeline.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis & monitor project expenditure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP/SAP systems.
- Experience in International Supplier & Contractor Coordination is an advantage.
