Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and cost estimates for MEP works, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, ELV, and electrical systems.
- Support procurement of MEP equipment and materials, including imported items.
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor & supplier quotations to ensure value for money and compliance with specifications for MEP works.
- Raise purchase orders for work approvals & contractual agreements for subcontractors related to MEP works.
- Prepare Interim Payment Certificates for subcontractors after inspecting the completion of jobs with quality.
- Work closely with project engineers, procurement, finance, subcontractors, and other related parties to complete projects within the designated time period.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis and monitor project expenditure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ERP/SAP systems.
- Experience in Mechanical & Electrical areas will be an advantage.
