Join Discovery International (Pvt) Ltd, a leading supplier to hotels and resorts for over 25 years, as a Senior Accountant. We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our financial operations and contribute to our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation, analysis, and investigation of monthly and annual financial accounts.
- Financial administration and preparation of relevant reports for the board of directors.
- Financial budgeting and forecasting of cash flow and profit.
- Preparation and submission of all periodical returns to the IRD and other relevant authorities.
- Communicating with auditors, IRD, and other institutions regarding accounting and tax matters.
- Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Liaising with banks for fund transfers, loan matters, and managing imports and exports.
- Administrating payroll and preparation of monthly salaries and wages.
- Controlling expenditure and managing debtors.
Requirements
- Partly or fully qualified in ICASL or CIMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as an accountant.
- Computer literacy and experience in handling accounting software.
- Female candidates aged between 35 to 45 years are preferred.
