Senior Architect - Revit & BIM Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Architect with strong Revit and BIM expertise to lead architectural projects for Dubai while working from Sri Lanka. The role involves managing design stages from concept to handover, coordinating with international teams, and ensuring full compliance with Dubai regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects for Dubai from concept design to handover
- Manage Concept, Schematic, Detail Design, and Construction Documentation
- Take responsibility for technical leadership and project coordination
- Produce and review drawings at all project stages using Revit and BIM workflows
- Prepare specifications with up-to-date knowledge of materials relevant to Dubai
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and suppliers remotely
- Present design proposals to clients through virtual meetings
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Authority regulations and international standards
- Supervise and guide architectural teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Support BIM standards, workflows, documentation, and digital processes
- Liaise with Dubai authorities and attend meetings virtually or in person
- Travel to Dubai for site inspections and coordination when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 10 years of professional architectural experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Revit and BIM (mandatory)
- Experience with high-rise buildings (concrete and steel structures)
- Middle East or UAE project experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of Dubai building codes and approval processes
- Ability to manage remote teams and cross-border projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs
