Job Description
Hayleys Fentons Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Executive / Assistant Manager in HR to join our team in Colombo. This position focuses on Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, ensuring a harmonious workplace and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures related to employee relations and industrial relations.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Facilitate training sessions on employee relations topics for staff and management.
- Maintain strong relationships with trade unions and represent the company in negotiations.
- Prepare reports and analysis on employee relations metrics and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
