About the Role
Join Allied Commercial Fertilizers as a Senior Executive - Customer Officer, where you will serve as a dynamic bridge between the factory floor and customer relations. Your role will integrate order management, data analysis, and strategic account development, driving operational excellence and growth in customer relationships within the fertilizer industry.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer PO & Invoicing Management:
- Oversee end-to-end order cycles, including purchase order receipt, tracking, and invoicing accuracy.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication of order specifications and delivery schedules.
- Factory Coordination:
- Monitor and analyze customer order arrival patterns, product types, volumes, and delivery logistics.
- Align production planning and dispatch teams with customer requirements and forecasts.
- Account Growth & Relationship Building:
- Develop strong relationships with key customers to understand strategic needs.
- Identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities using data insights and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing on campaigns or initiatives tailored to customer growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize SAP and other tools to ensure the customer office pillar is system-driven.
- Leverage analytics tools to monitor KPIs such as order frequency, fulfillment rate, and product mix efficiency.
- Present actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Fluent in Sinhala (must)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar industry.
- SAP knowledge is ideal.
- Basic computer literacy is a must.
- Background in supply chain operations, merchandising, or customer account management.
- Experience in fertilizer, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors (preferred).
- Strong grasp of order management systems and invoicing processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a passion for data-led strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commercially curious and customer-focused.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and equally excited by a dashboard.
